QSR Consultant: Quick-Service Restaurant SetupDelhi NCR | Pune | Bengaluru

In short

A QSR consultant builds a quick-service restaurant for speed and repeatability: a short menu, a tight kitchen footprint, standardised processes and low dependence on individual staff skill. Table & Fork designs the format, the unit economics and the SOPs so the outlet can be replicated. A QSR usually opens in three to four months.

Quick-service restaurants win on consistency and throughput. Every second at the counter and every square foot of kitchen counts, and the model only works if the second and tenth outlets run exactly like the first.

We build QSR formats from the ground up: menu, equipment, workflow, packaging, SOPs and the training system that makes the concept franchisable.

What is included

What the programme covers

  1. Format and unit economics

Ticket size, covers per hour, labour model and break-even for the specific location type: high street, mall, IT park or transit.

  2. Short menu engineering

A tight menu with shared prep, standardised recipes and costing that protects margin at QSR price points.

  3. Throughput kitchen design

Compact kitchen layouts with equipment chosen for speed, and workflow zoning for assembly-line service.

  4. Packaging and delivery

Packaging that travels, aggregator menu strategy and delivery-first operations.

  5. SOPs and training

Process documentation, grooming and hygiene, service checklists and complaint-handling systems.

  6. Replication and franchising readiness

Operations manuals, staffing plans and opening checklists so new outlets open the same way every time.

How we work

Three steps to a plan you can build from

  1. 1

    Tell us about the concept

Format, city, budget range and where you are: lease signed, site identified, or still exploring.

  2. 2

    We test desirability, feasibility, sustainability

Our three-step proof of concept checks whether there is a market, whether the numbers work, and whether it holds past year one.

  3. 3

You get a plan you can build from

Concept and positioning, menu and costing, kitchen and floor layout, staffing, operations setup and launch marketing.

FAQ

Common questions

All FAQs

How long does it take to open a QSR?

Usually three to four months from signed concept to opening, compared with six to nine months for a full-service restaurant.

What licences does a QSR need in India?

FSSAI, a local health and trade licence, fire NOC, GST and shops and establishment registration. Requirements vary by municipality, so we confirm the list early.

Do you help make a QSR franchise-ready?

Yes. We document the operations manual, staffing model, equipment list and opening checklist so the format can be replicated.
